No other company in Costa Rica sells higher quality at lower prices, so we encourage you to get quotes from other suppliers.  We sell our 10 kilowatt grid tied systems for around $30,000 installed.  Our competitors may sell the same size system for similar prices, but they use equipment that doesn’t have the same quality, reputation or reliable warranty.  If you get a quote for a comparable system at a lower price please send it to us and we’ll do our best to beat it.  Sometimes it’s hard to compare apples to oranges, especially when it comes to quality.

Other companies quote the size of their systems in confusing ways.  Costa Rica receives 4.5 to 6.5 hours of usable sunshine per day depending on where in the country you are.  That means that on average our 10 kilowatt system will produce 50 kilowatt hours per day or 1,500 kilowatt hours per month or 18,000 kilowatt hours per year.

50 kWhr per day = 1,500 kWhr per month = 18,000 kWhr per year

Including sales tax, customers of I.C.E. currently pay 31 cents per kilowatt hour. So 18,000 kWh’s equals more than $5,500 in savings each year.  That’s how we say our system will pay for itself in just over 5 years (5 times $5,500 = $27,500).  Ask the competition how long it will take the system they sell to pay for itself and then call Pura Vida Energy Systems, S.A.!!
